thanksgiving

we had such a fun time this thanksgiving break.  my whole family came into town.  on saturday the adults went to the Temple and then went out to eat.  it was so nice.  ryan took us to lotus of siam.  it is in the hood and i think my brother in law thought he was going to get shot.  but it was the best thai food i have ever had!  it doesn't open until 530, and by 515 the line was growing outside.  some people from new york planned their trip around this place.  on tuesday i took andi out of school and all the cousins went to the museum.  we never get tired of that place.  wednesday we had a family service project.  we colored lunch sacks for the ronald mcdonald house.  it was the perfect service project for young kids.  my kids loved decorating the sacks.  before we got started my mom sat all the kids down and told them about the ronald mcdonald house and why we were decorating the lunch sacks.  thursday we had a great time at my sister's house for thanksgiving dinner, then all the adults went to see lincoln (it is so nice having 3 nephews and a niece that can babysit).

it was a wonderful week and made me really excited to go to utah for christmas with ryan's family!!  i am so grateful for families.  i'm grateful for my family, even though it has been a difficult year we have learned a lot (someday i do want to post my thoughts and feelings on what has happened in my family).  i am so grateful for ryan's family.  i seriously couldn't have married into a better family.  they are the most wonderful people.  i am grateful my kids have such great cousins that they absolutely adore and look up to.  i am grateful for our own little family.  the kids can drive me in sane sometimes, but i just love those munchkins to pieces.  they make me laugh so hard.  most the time i want them to just stay this little.  i am so grateful to be having another baby (i really don't feel like this will be the last one).  i love how excited my kids get talking about the new baby.  i want my kids to be best friends and love each other.  i just pray everyday that i am doing enough to teach my kids to make good choices! i know i wouldn't be able to do it without the gospel.

we have also already decorated for Christmas!  i love it!  this week we are going to summerlin's hometown holidays and magical forest.  i can't wait.

seriously, how fat is my face already!
