saturday morning we decided to pack up the kids and the car and head to the grand canyon for an "anderson mini vacation". we had never been and thought it was time to go! the kids loved it. we saw elk, deer and other creatures. the grand canyon was absolutely beautiful. we hiked as far down as we could go with the kids. they were troopers. at the top it's a little scary cause there isn't much railing! we just stayed one night and then headed back.
monday my family went out on the boat. it was such a fun day. the weather was perfect, jane and neal slept almost the entire time. we can't wait for many more boats trips this summer!!
