we were in newport for 4th of july this year. we had a fun time, but i have to admit i was sad not to go to utah for my mother in laws party.
ryan signed up for a tennis tournament at the place we were staying (newport coast villas). it was fun to watch him play! in the evening we had dinner with my family and a little program. my mom had all the grandkids sing a couple patriotic songs and then each family had to do a little presentation on a part of american history. it was a pretty low key fourth, but it was fun!
