school has started and we are loving it! sunday night we had our back to school dinner. our theme this year is mosiah 2:17, we are going to focus on being "service superheros" the boys wore their capes at dinner (andi wouldn't wear hers - she's a tough one). we talked about how we can serve those around us and serve in our own family. each month for FHE we are going to do at least one service activity and the kids are going to memorize the scripture. i'm excited for a new year!!
the kids were very excited to start school. cohen got the same teacher andi had for kindergarten. he is so ready for kindergarten and didn't even get sad when i took him to class. andi is very excited for her teacher and even more excited that her cousin is finally in her same class! andi's teacher this year will be doing frogs, ladybug, butterflies, silkworms, ants and chicks in their classroom! perfect for my little nature girl. we are off to a great start.
neal starts preschool next week. he is not too excited to leave me, but he definitely needs it! it has been really fun having just the two littles at home and spending time with them. but neal does really miss his brother and sister.
next week is when it gets a little crazier. piano lessons switch to before school, tennis lessons, soccer, sports class (for neal), playgroup for neal and kumon.
