on st. patrick's day my sweet baby jane turned one! i can't believe how fast this year has gone. she is the sweetest little baby. she still sucks her thumb and i love it! i never thought i would have a baby with curly hair and red! it's not totally red, but she definitely has some strawberry blonde hair. it totally fits her! she crawls around everywhere and pulls herself up onto to everything to cruise around. she likes to just stand and balance, it's pretty funny. she has 8 teeth and a moler coming in. she just had her 3rd ear infection so she will most likely get tubes just like cohen. the older kids just adore her. especially neal. he protects her and is constantly telling her how much he loves her and always can make her laugh. she is obsessed with patterns and different textures. if you have clothes on that are polka dots or any fun pattern, she will grab it and bury her head in it. it is the funniest thing to watch. she also twirls her feet ALL THE TIME. and when she gets excited they go twice as fast. it is the cutest thing to see.
we had just a little family party for her. that morning we sang to her and gave her gifts. a carseat is such an exciting gift! we did give her a little push toy and a new outfit. then we had my family over that evening for some dinner and cake and ice cream. everyone was supposed to wear green. andi printed out a st. patrick's day bingo for the kids to play. it was a beautiful night. we just love our jane jane!
i probably should have wiped her snot from her nose before taking pictures and maybe changed her clothes (since she fell asleep in what she wore the day before), but this is our life. my kids will never have perfect hair and will probably always look like raga muffins. but, we enjoy every minute of these kiddles!
