i want to remember what jane was like right now. she is so funny (and a little odd, which i shouldn't say but it's kind of true). she is 20 months and still doesn't talk which worries me like crazy. she is doing speech therapy twice a month so hopefully it will help. some funny things this girls does:
she loves to empty out boxes, bins or anything small so she can sit in it
loves to put on shoes, especially saltwaters
constantly making messes, emptying drawers, unrolling toilet paper or pulling out anything she can reach
she loves to be outside! i found her face down in a plant one day loving playing in it. she loves to go behind plants or in them. she is very silly!
loves to brush her hair or anyone else's
she loves how things feel and loves patterns still
i don't have a picture but she is obessesed with ties! goes to our closet several times a day and pulls down all of ryan's ties and puts them in her face and just giggles. at church she goes to at least 4 or 5 different men that have ties she likes, crawls up their laps and buries her head in their tie. it is crazy. a couple of weeks ago my dad got called to be the new mid singles ward bishop (a ward that was just created for singles ages 31-45, both my parents are loving it and will be awesome). we went to see him get called in and jane went to several men to see their ties. it is the funniest thing to watch.
we love our janer and i pray each night she will start talking.
oh mr. neal is a force of nature. this little boy is so tender and difficult at the same time. he has a hard time controlling his emotions and i am really trying hard to help him, but man it is frustrating. he is really into doing his own hair. i don't care or have time in the morning and i think it's cute so i let him do it! he loves to do crafts or color and makes the cutest faces while doing it. he is so proud of the "happy coins" he earns at school for being extra good. we signed him up for soccer this season and it was a disaster at the beginning. he refused to practice and at games he just stood there in the middle of the field with his head down. if he did kick the ball he would immediately run off the field. it drove me nuts! but, by the last game he played like a champ! made several goals and was so aggressive and even wants to play next season! i just love this little dude even if he has several melt downs a day!!
