anderson family ski day

for our family gift this year we had an anderson family ski day!!  we took the three older kids to park city and skied all day.  i was a little nervous at first.  we got there early in the morning and it was super cold.  my toes and fingers were already frozen and i thought it was going to be a miserable day.  because honestly, if i am cold, i am not happy at all.  but, by the time we got an instructor (we just hired a private instructor to teach the kids and i to ski) it had warmed up.  neal only skied in his fleece and ryan didn't even wear gloves.  it was perfect weather for our first time skiing.

i was so impressed with the kids.  after an hour of instruction they were totally skiing by themselves. they absolutely loved it.  cohen was a speed demon.  he would get right off the lift, bend over and race down.  we didn't get much video of him cause we couldn't keep up!  i was so proud of our kids for trying something new.  they still talk about it and want to do it again.

since we have family in utah and go up often we figured we needed to learn how to ski.  now when we go up in the winter we can have a ski day.  it was so fun to be with the older kids.  ryan's mom is wonderful and watched jane all day for us.  it was super fun and we can't wait to do it again!
