my sister and i had so much fun planning our witches tea this year. this year we had 40 girls come! we really like to have one long table, i think it is so fun to see everyone seated with their witches hats. this year our theme was day of the dead. it was fun to add some color and skeletons and some girls even painted their faces, they looked awesome. in the past we have kind of stuck to black, grey, white, gold, it was nice for a change. it was at my sisters house this year (next year it will be at mine) and for the canopy this year we covered it in branches, sticks and lights. it turned out so good. we also changed the menu up. for appetizers we did "tea"quillas, chips and salsa and gauc and then a hot corn dip. instead of doing fall soups and salads we kept with the mexican theme and did mexican soups and salad and then a pumpkin tres leches for dessert. the day before it rained seriously all day so we were a little nervous, but the weather turned out perfect. it was seriously so fun and we have already come up with our themes for the next two years.
