november in a nutshell

my goal is to get november done before Christmas!  some things that happened:

cohen finally lost a tooth!  and then another the day after.  bit seriously 2nd grade and he finally got a visit from the tooth fairy




for one of the family home evenings in the singles ward, we put together kits for the troops and wrote letters to them.  it was so fun to watch the kids put the together and write letters.  i really love the singles ward.



ryan and nathan had a meeting in salt lake city so tara and i flew up with them and just shopped and ate.  it was a nice quick little break.  we love doing things like this.  plus i never feel like i get to go to all the fun little shops up there.



jane is fighting her naps so sometimes i will find her in weird places and positions asleep!




the weekend before thanksgiving we went to california for andi's cheer competition.  it was in anaheim, literally right across the street from disneyland.  we weren't planning on going to disney, but there was really nothing else to do with the other kids while andi was in competition most of the day. so ryan took the littles alone for the first bit in the morning and then i joined them around lunch.  we then headed back to watch andi perform.  after she was done performing we headed back to disneyland with her.  then we had to go back for andi's award ceremony that evening (andi's group won 1st place).  then we headed back to disneyland (and california adventure) until midnight.  it actually was a decent day at disney, especially for a saturday.  we got on plenty of rides, but we mostly wanted to do splash mountain since the past TWO times we have been there it has been shut down.  it was the first time for the kids and they loved it!!

it was fun to watch and cheer on andi!!

























we got a dog.  which i am still unsure about.  i just don't really care for animals at all.  we are still potty training.  but the kids absolutely adore her.  she's a goldendoodle so she will get really big, but these dogs can be trained to be therapy dogs (amd the are super smart).  it's just a little crazy right now and i don't know if we really needed to add a dog to the mix!



andi has finally started the process for braces.  right now she has her expander in.  it's cray to see her mouth getting a little wider!!
