i can't believe andi is done with kindergarten. it makes me so sad that she is growing up so fast. she has loved school this year. she was so good at doing her homework, she probably only complained a couple of times doing it. she is almost on a 2 grade reading level. she did awesome in math. twice a week they had timed math tests. she would get so mad if she didn't pass. and she especially hated it when kids were ahead of her. they only needed to be at level 10 by the end of the year. she finished on level 17 {she probably would have passed more if it weren't for italy, i wasn't as diligent practicing with her while i was getting ready to leave}!
i can't tell you how much i love her teacher. when ryan and i went to the open house at the beginning of the year we both commented on how you could tell that her teacher had a passion for teaching. she did such an awesome job at classroom management and did so many fun things with the kids. they did cooking centers and art centers {andi's favorite}. there were at least 5 kids in the class whose parents were teachers or aids at the school, even the principal's grand daughter. proof that mrs. brodie is the best! we have loved her and i know andi is going to miss her!

It's so wonderful that Andi Girl loves school. I think her mother, the former teacher, has something to do with it. Kudos to both of you!
