last wednesday my sister and i had our annual witches tea!! it was so dang fun. this year we wanted all black and white, with a hint of gold. i really wanted to do it outside so i was so happy the weather stayed nice. last year we ended up having to put it inside because it was too cold. we did it at my house this year. usually we switch off and it was supposed to be at my sisters house. but she has been in the process of building a pool, casita fire pit and re landscaping their backyard. it's not done, but is going to be gorgeous and ready for next year! i know i posted way too many pictures but i love looking back at them. our friends had such amazing hats and we had so much fun visiting and eating outside. as we were setting up, we were already planning for next year.
this year we served lemony arugula salad, homemade rolls, and the choice of tomato, pumpkin or tuscan kale soup. then my friend tara made homemade apple pie that we served warm with vanilla ice cream drizzled with warm caramel sauce. it was delicious!
my best friend abby moved to utah in september but she flew down just for the tea. love her!
