Last weekend ryan had a cycling race in panguitch, utah. so we all came and made it an "anderson mini vacation." just our little family. we are so blessed to have families that take us on vacation every summer, but it is so fun to do our own little family trips too. i love spending time with the 5 of us. creating memories and just enjoying the time together. we left friday after work and hit up main street in panguitch for dinner. it was so nice to be away from the heat for a couple of days! the next morning ry got up for the race. he cycled 100 miles in 5 hours and 20 minutes. while he was gone the kids and i went to the local market to grab some breakfast and then headed up to panguitch lake. we skipped rocks while trying to stop neal from walking straight into the water every 2 seconds. found a little playground to play on. and then did a little horseback riding. ry was finished by this time so we met him for lunch. we then stopped by the county fair to see all the animals and then headed home. it was a quick trip, but it was so fun to be together!
i have to admit i was not excited to go at first. we had just gotten back from cali and i was not ready to be in a car again. in fact, i was planning on just dropping ry off and heading to my sister's house in lehi. but i was too tired and decided not to. but, when we got to panguitch i was happy to stay and glad to be with the 5 of us!
one of the funniest moments was when cohen woke up in the middle of the night and started singing the alphabet. he started with l and fell back asleep at x, i guess he was just too darn tired to say z!
