we spent a couple of days on the beach. our hotel room was right on the bay, it was absolutely perfect! we literally only had to walk less than ten steps and we were right on the bay. one afternoon i put neal to sleep and then went out on the bay with the kids (i could see our hotel room and hear him if he woke up). the kids loved the bay side. we played games, built sandcastles and searched for seashells. one afternoon we rented a paddle board and took turns riding it. i was so surprised andi wanted to go. she and ryan went out pretty far and he said she didn't get scared once. she kept asking him why the seahorses and starfish weren't coming to her. and if they saw one, ryan had to get in and get it for her! cohen LOVED the sand. he would just jump right in it and bury himself. we love the beach and can't wait to go back this weekend with ryan's family!
