i can't believe how quickly this month has gone. i don't want it to end. christmas has been so much fun! we got the house decorated as soon as we got back from thanksgiving in utah. the kids were so excited to see jingle made it to our house even though we were gone.
some fun things we have done:
started a Christ centered Christmas this year and have REALLY enjoyed it
magical forest, one of our favorite places to visit at christmas time
live nativity (andi's favorite)
andi's class program (she was a little sick but still performed and was the prettiest angel)
cohen had a class program and was darling in it
Christmas sunday (jane wasn't feeling too well)
today we baked sugar cookies to set out for santa
i am so excited for the next few days. i love setting up on christmas eve and i am so excited to give the kids their presents. this year we decided to do 3 presents from santa, 1 present from mom and dad and a family gift. by the time they get a present from g&g anderson, g&g cooper (which i used to get accessories to go along with the family gift), great grandma colleen and cousin exchange (on both sides) i still feel like it's too much!! am i crazy for not wanting to give more? next year i will probably cut santa gifts down to 2. i just get so tired of all the toys and i feel like they have too much. we will see how it goes this year.
