i am really trying to finish up summer, but i have been so crazy i can't catch up! a couple weeks after we got back from utah we headed out to the beach! ryan's family didn't do the beach this year, but my family was doing it. so, the cooper vacay was starting on a monday but ryan and i couldn't just sit at home the weekend before. so we decided to do a little family trip to the hotel del coronado for that weekend. i have always wanted to stay there and this was perfect timing. after talking about it we told some of his family and his sister and her family, his other sister and her husband and his little sister decided to come along! when they got to vegas we called his parents and got them to fly to cali for the weekend too! it was such a fun time. the del was a dream to stay at. our room walked right out to the ocean. it was ideal. the weather was hot and the kids had so much fun swimming in the ocean and the pool. we all rented bikes one afternoon and rode around the island. the best thing about coronado is you can walk everywhere. we would walk around town for shopping and dinner. we got there on a thursday evening and then checked out monday, then headed back over the bridge to san diego for a little cooper vacay!
