cooper family vacation

i love that my family (and ryan's) does a family vacation every summer.  it's kind of a big deal and my kids can hardly wait to be with their cousins.  this year for the cooper vacay we went to san diego!  when we go there we always stay at the catamaran.  ever since i was in middle school we have stayed theres.  i love it.  it's right on the bay and across the street from the beach.  the grounds are pretty.  they always have exotic birds out and ducks which makes my kids very happy.  at the pool everyday they have free crafts for the kids to do.  they also have an arcade and most games are free.  they do movie night on the bay one night and several nights you can ride the ferry boat around the bay.  our room was right on the bay which is my favorite place to stay.  one day we went across the street to play at the beach.  it was a blast.  my kids are fully entertained with their cousins and the older cousins love helping with jane to (so i can actually relax).  then the next day we did sea world.  it was really hot but thank goodness it wasn't too crowded.  the kids really enjoyed it, especially feeding the sea lions).  then we spent a day on the bay.  the bay is awesome.  the kids love getting in the water and playing on the sand.  some of the adults played sand volleyball.  i basically ignored everyone and enjoyed a book!  another day we rented wave runners.  one of my favorite parts of a cooper vacation is going out just with the adults!  we have a lot of older kids and we split them all up to babysit.  it's awesome to enjoy a night with the adults.  we went to phil's bbq which was amazing.  some people went to see mission impossible another night.  we had dinner on the beach one night too.  it was just so fun to be together.  we came home on saturday.  i did laundry and repacked for the anderson vacation and we left again sunday morning!!
