Christmas Eve

It makes me so sad Christmas is already over. This was our first Christmas at our house. In the past we have been in school so we would always spend Christmas night at my parents house or my in-laws. It was so much fun waking up and having Christmas with our own little family.

Christmas Eve started off with a trip to the doctor's office! Cohen had a fever off and on the day before, but Andi woke up and said that her throat was hurting. I got worried it was strep and took her in right away. Cohen had strep and Andi was showing signs of getting it. The doctor came in and started to give me a prescription but I asked if they could just give Andi and Cohen the shot. She looked at me like, "are you serious? You want to give your kids a shot!" I wanted them to get better fast. And they did.

We rushed home and quickly got Andi ready to go see The Nutcracker ballet with all of her girl cousins, grandpa and grandma. She LOVES the music from The Nutcracker and always wanted to listen to it in the car. She would always ask me what instruments were playing. I am so glad she loves music. They had a wonderful time, thank you Grandpa and Grandma Cooper!

Christmas Eve night we had a nice family dinner, opened our Christmas pj's, did the nativity and opened our family exchange gifts. It was a wonderful evening with family!
