for the past two years we have celebrated the 4th of july in newport. i have to admit, i'm not a fan of celebrating the 4th in california. my kids don't get to do sparklers! don't get me wrong, they have a great firework show on the beach we watched, but i love being able to do fireworks on the street and seeing my kids enjoy sparklers and fireworks right in front of them. next year, we will be in utah. utah is the best place to celebrate 4th of july.
we still had a fun day. we went to the balboa boat show, swam, had a bbq and watched fireworks.
