Stepping up to modesty

My mom is the YW President in her ward and did the cutest thing. For the past month (maybe even longer) she has had women in the ward who know how to sew help the young women make modest clothing. Some made shirts, dresses, pajama pants, or added sleeves to a prom dress. Then my mom, who modeled back in the day, taught them how to walk the cat walk. Last night they had a fashion show to show off everything they made. It was so cute, my mom had a runway with a back drop and lights on the stage, it looked amazing! And, of course my mom wrote a darling narration that some of the young men read as the girls came out on the cat walk. For refreshments the girls had frosted high heel sugar cookies. A good friend in the ward who is really good at taking pictures, took pictures of the girls before the show and he took pictures while they were walking down the runway. I thought it was so cute and those girls are so lucky to have my mom as their YW president!
