we have started our christmas countdown! the kids love doing this. the first night we went down to the magical forrest. one of our favorite traditions (thanks to grandpa cooper). it was a cold windy night and no one was there. it was awesome. the kids went on the rides many times, including the free fall! i seriously could not believe both andi and cohen went on the free fall (it takes you up in the air and keeps dropping you). they loved it and did it 3 times. the camera i brought was dead so i only got these pictures from my phone. we went to summerlin's hometown holidays another night. the kids did horseback riding, decorated cookies and did some crafts. tonight we went to our ward christmas party. every night we snuggle on the couch with the fire and all the christmas lights on (i am not very energy efficient during the holidays, i like the lights on ALL the time) and read books. neal loves the book, merry christmas, big hungry bear. he brings it to me all the time saying, "mouse, mouse"
next week we are keeping it real simple! i am on the live nativity committee and will be there tuesday, wednesday, thursday and saturday from 5-10. hopefully we will all survive!
