last weekend we drove up to utah for some christmas fun! how can you not love utah at this time of year besides the freezing cold weather, i don't know how i survived it?
thursday night my mom and i took three of her grand daughters to the nutcracker. we went to dinner before with my dad, sister and her husband and my aunt carma. it was such a fun evening. during the ballet andi leaned over three times and said "i love you mom" and also said, "you're the best mom in the whole world" and during one of the songs she asked if i could buy it on my phone right now! during intermission my mom took the girls out to buy a nutcracker ornament. we may have to do this every year........
friday thanks to grandma colleen we got the best seats for the mo tab christmas concert. it was so wonderful. we went with ryan's sister and her husband and ryan's other sister and her date. after the show we stopped at hires big h for a yummy dinner of burgers and cheese fries! the kids got to have a cousin sleepover and grandma & grandpa camp. they made a nativity gingerbread sounds weird, but it is darling and then watched a christmas movie.
saturday we went on the christmas cruise. a boat ride on the provo river looking at all the christmas lights. following the cruise we made homemade donuts and hot chocolate. then snuggled in the family room for home alone 2. the kids thought the movie was absolutely hilarious! it was too funny listening to them laugh.
we won't be back to utah until may when hopefully the snow will be gone!

I'm so jealous you guys got to go to that Motab concert! My family went and said it was awesome. Luckily it was on PBS all day today so i could see it but I soo wish I could've gone up for it! How fun!
