We had so much fun going to Utah for Christmas this year. Nothing is better than having a white Christmas. I feel so lucky to have such wonderful in laws. My mother in law always makes our visit so special. When we arrive she always has yummy snacks (no matter how late we get there) and a little present for the kids in their room. This time she gave the kids the Raffi Christmas CD. We listened to it everyday. We are always doing something fun and eating out.
One thing Andi really wanted to do was ice skating. We wanted to go to an outdoor ice skating rink, so we took the kids to Midway. Andi had so much fun, but Cohen didn't last too long. It was so cute watching Andi. She kept telling Ryan she was dancing on the ice.
Of course one night we went to Temple Square. It was such a fun night. We first went to dinner with Ryan's cousins (the Sanders) and Grandma Colleen. Then we all went to Temple Square and looked at the lights. Ryan's parents and Grandma drove around in the car with baby Neal so we didn't have to take him out in the cold. The kids had fun looking at all the lights.
The kids and Ryan also played in the snow a lot! I couldn't believe how much my kids loved playing outside. They were so excited to build a snowman and throw snowballs.
We had such a fun week. Hopefully my in laws will recover from our stay!
